Lewis — Creative Studio Website
A typography-led site for a studio obsessed with letterforms — three giant letters, zero clutter, and a contact page clients quote back to us.
Overview
Lewis is a small branding studio with outsized taste. Their old site explained too much and showed too little. The brief was brave: let the work — and the letterforms — carry the whole homepage.
The challenge
Minimalism is unforgiving. With almost no chrome to hide behind, every spacing decision, every weight, every millisecond of motion had to be deliberate. And the studio needed to update featured work themselves in Framer.
Approach
- Hero built from three oversized glyphs linking to Studio, Work and Journal
- Motion system: one easing curve, one duration family, used sparingly
- Framer CMS for projects, articles and team — editable by the studio
- Type-first performance: subset fonts, system fallbacks, no layout shift
Outcome
Instant identity
Visitors understand the studio's craft before scrolling a single pixel.
Studio-run CMS
New projects and journal posts go live without touching the design.
Enquiries with intent
The contact page filters for fit — fewer, better, ready-to-start briefs.
